Concept Kerrison Punch
The Fehling Concept line is distinguished by its unique proximal shape, which eliminates any sharp points which might be uncomfortable when holding the kerrison upside down. Concept punches are available in the Concept Classic style, with its external springs between the handles, or the Concept X style, with its internal nitinol spring and single-screw design which simplify disassembly. All models include an ejector to prevent the buildup of bone fragments. This kerrison is available with an upward or downward bite, in either 40° or 90° angles.
There are two footplates available―the Standard Footplate is the thicker and more durable option, making it ideal for lumbar applications. For cervical applications, the Flat Footplate is recommended for its perfect marriage of thinness and durability.
